By performing these functions, the End-of-Phase Review helps ensure that a project will deliver acceptable results within its schedule and budget. In the case of the discovery that a project is not feasible, it calls for the earliest possible cancellation to reduce wasted effort and expense.
Participants in the End-of-Phase Review
The following people should review, and either request changes in, or approve, project documents and deliverables:
The project sponsor
The project manager
The customer lead or customer representative
Key stakeholders, for the parts of the project that concern them
Technical experts, for the parts of the project in which they have expertise
