The PMO in the PIR
What is crucial to the organization is that a PIR be performed properly at the end of every project. The PMO should help ensure this in the most cost-effective way possible. The PMO's level of involvement in each review is determined by a number of factors, the most important ones being how capable the project manager is of running an effective review, and what type of PMO is operating within the organization.
