Online Project Management Audits
An audit is triggered by a special need for an in-depth look at a project. Audits are not routine, and the audit work will interfere with project work. In some cases, as when the project is out of control, it may be necessary to halt or limit work on the project until the audit is complete and management has the information the audit has provided and can set a new direction. This situation clearly creates significant delays and adds to project management life cycle costs.
