Project Management Training PMO Supportive and Controlling
Create two PMOs, one Supportive and one Controlling. The Supportive PMO provides support that allows a project manager and teams to improve. The Controlling PMO provides feedback defining where improvement is needed and what direction that improvement should take.
Develop a Directive PMO or expand the Special Projects Service to handle new challenges. This is important if the organization needs to be able to manage projects that it has not been able to deliver on successfully to date. If this approach is taken, then some kind of independent Controlling function would also be needed. It could be a separate Controlling PMO, or it could be an independent division of the Directive PMO.
